Monk fruit is a natural sweetener that comes from the monk fruit plant. Monk fruit extract is about 300 times sweeter than sugar and has been shown to have some health benefits. It's also possible that monk fruit extract may help with weight loss and reduce inflammation.

There is some evidence to suggest that monk fruit extract may be beneficial for women with PCOS. One study found that monk fruit extract improved insulin sensitivity and reduced androgen levels in women with PCOS. Another study found that monk fruit extract helped reduce weight gain, inflammation, and insulin resistance in rats with PCOS.
